2022 EWS Rnd 3 – Val Di Fassa

That’s race 3 finished.

A challenging and physical weekend for sure. I’m fairly sure the views and ice cream made up for it.

Joe had a real consistent weekend which was great to see after a couple of races where he was finding himself crashing a fair bit. He’s nicely passed this now and came in 43rd.

Lachlan struggled for form which is unlike him but I think pulling dual duty and racing WC DH as well as EWS with 3 events on the bounce probably caught up with him. A respectable 56th but he’ll for sure be looking for redemption, but as always he won practice pulling some sublime shapes on the bike!

Tom’s shoulder still isn’t 100% but we’re keeping an eye on it. The main aim for him now is to be 100% fit for the three North American rounds coming up.
