F: 160MM | R: 145MM | W: 29/27.5
Build spec based on our Factory Racing bikes,
The Switch 6 is our first mixed wheel size bike, 29er wheel upfront with 160mm of travel and 27.5 wheel out back with 145mm.
This is the Orange Factory Racing version, the very special Switch 6 Team.
With a unique package of custom tuned components from our Factory Racing partners, this model builds on the performance platform of the MX switch 6 chassis.
The suspension is custom tuned and developed from our shakedown and testing sessions in Italy, working directly with the Formula factory technicians. Formula suspension is infinitley tunable and features like the ingeneous Neopos spacers and CTS (Compression Tuning System) quickly allow you to change the character of the suspension for any terrain.
It's not just the suspension where Formula components shine, their powerful Cura 4 brakes, provide incredible feel and stopping power.
E13 rims combined with Michelin Wild Enduro tyres provide sure-footed feel and unparalleled grip.
The finishing kit is no less impressive, featuring a cherry picked selection from Burgtec and SDG.
If you want a race-ready package second to none, either for racing or just some seriously fast fun, the Switch 6 Team is unbeatable.
The Switch 6 features all the frame updates that we’ve integrated into the latest line-up; Metric shock, 76° seat angle, 64° head angle, with a generous 485mm reach on a size large and a reduced offset fork, this bike is clearly set-up with the agressive rider in mind.
Aimed at racers and fast trail riders this genre of bike has become the hottest ticket around, whether you call them a 'Mullet' or 'MX', the mixed size wheelset makes a massive amount of sense, but only if you apply the right geometry. The Switch 6 has its geometry tuned to put all the key frame elements in the right place, therefore the ride by design is what you would expect from an Orange.
